    Nothing in life comes easy, each one has to strive hard and if it wasn’t hard then everyone would do it.. This statement totally defines Megha Sampat, a name that causes a stir in the quintessential world of dance. Megha hails from a culturally rich family where her parents always supported her dancing and stood behind her like a pillar.
    They encouraged her decision of making dance, her career choice and backed her throughout being her guiding star.
    Choreographing is to get Dreams alive on stage....
    Megha is a seamless dancer and an effortless choreographer, she connects with the audience with her choreographic visualization and tells them a story. Her choreography is a sculpture in life, right from conceptualization to execution.
    She is a sincere, determined and an extremely committed person. For her, work is the first priority and everything comes later.
    Her strongest dance style is Semi-Classical and Bollywood. She has amalgamated these styles into a coherent whole to make a dance form of her own. Her wonderful choreography involves much more than the average person sees. It is her discipline that requires many hours of practice and patience to manage everything aptly.

    In the midst of dancing and choreographing, she met the man of her dreams, Sampat Kini. They shared the same ambition in life which was to become successful Choreographers and together they achieved the unachievable. They started their own Dance Academy and in a couple of years they opened 7 branches all over Thane. They also participated in some distinguished shows like “Boogie Woogie”, which was the first celebrated dance show of their times. Her marriage proved to be a milestone in her life and after that there was no looking back. Her In Laws were her support system and always encouraged her through thick and thin.
    She not only dream’t for success, she worked for it…
    Megha had always dreamed of making her passion her profession and today she is the face of all Award Functions Choreography. She strived hard to make a name of her own and came out as a shining star.
    Her current dancing troupe which she proudly indicates as “Megha Sampat Dance Squad” is dedicated just for dance. Her squad members dance joyfully, with complete conviction and commitment. They are great looking and always grinning with pleasure and friendliness. That’s the reason the audience always loves them and amazed with the energy they generate on the stage.
    Megha received her first choreography work with the Award show on Sahyadri Channel which was the Navratna Awards in 2004. Since then there was no turning back. She has done more than 2500 shows in the last 15 years in India and abroad, with her squad. She continues to be amongst the most celebrated choreographers of the current times and has won many accolades in her untiring and unceasing journey..

    Megha has completed her Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University.

    Megha was trained under the best of Dance Masters:

    She completed her Bharatnatyam visharad from Nalanda Nritya Niketan and was trained under
    Guru Mrs. Shobhana Khollam

    Kathak – banaras gharana, trained under Guru Mrs. Anuradha Thorat.
